Morrocco

We took 10 days off to relax, surf and explore Taghazout, Taroudant and Marrakech.  Here’s a (very) brief round up:

View from our room at Surf Berbere, looking down on Hash Point.

Friendly beach dog entourage in Taghazout. Lots of animal friends were made on our trip.

Seemingly never-ending driveway to La Gazelle D’Or not far from Taroudant. After we sped up to the ornate hotel gate in our beaten-up taxi the porter expected we’d perhaps come to the wrong place.

Saadian Tombs, Marrakech. Pimp’d out graves.

Jardin Majorelle, Marrakech. By this point the temperature during the day had risen to just under 40 degrees C.

Jemaa El-Fnaa at night, complete with story-tellers, ramshackle Arabic folk bands, meddlesome snake charmers and monkey tamers, Henna artists and an unfathomable amount of food stalls.

Morrocco had a surprising amount of free wifi.  So we did some instagrammin’.
